I'm sorry to say that it was easily one of the worst season finales (at least in my opinion) that I have yet to see on television.
They were obviously trying to recreate the series of shocks found in the first season finale, but failed to have any of those twists tie into the story well.
I don't think I have to say anything more about the ridiculous choice of music as well.
I assume all of the stupid twists will have some sort of explanation (of course), but I don't believe they will be part of a strong narrative and plot structure. To me, this ending represents the dreaded shark jump more so than any previous small fish jump we've seen to this point.
